Data You Provide
Search boxes on this site send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party search provider that powers sponsored results. Fresno People Search does not keep a separate copy of those searches on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the information you include and use it to respond.
Automatic Site Data
Our hosting systems record routine server-log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this information in aggregate to keep pages working, troubleshoot errors, and understand which Fresno records pages visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use Data
The information described above is used to operate the site, fix technical problems, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell a visitor list. We do not build detailed profiles of individual visitors.
Other Websites
Fresno People Search links to government portals, county and city offices, California agencies, library collections, and third-party search tools. Those services control their own privacy policies. Data submitted to the Fresno County Recorder, Fresno Superior Court, GovQA, the Secretary of State, or a sponsored search provider is governed by that outside service, not by this policy.
Who Might See Data
Service providers that host, secure, analyze, or support this website may process server-log or analytics data for us. Advertising or analytics partners may receive automatic data described above. We may also disclose information when valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
Data Safeguards
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Server logs are retained only as long as needed for operations, security, analytics, or legal compliance. Because the site does not run user accounts, it does not store visitor passwords or account profiles.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent personal information to us, contact us so it can be deleted.
Your Data Rights
California residents may have privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, including rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain sensitive data uses, and avoid discrimination for exercising those rights. Fresno People Search holds very little visitor data, so most requests involve checking our contact mailbox and server logs. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by Fresno, Fresno County, or California agencies are outside our control; requests about those records must go to the custodian office.
Policy Updates
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here. Continued use of Fresno People Search after an update means you accept the revised policy.
